Memorials &
End of Life Casting
Memorial and end-of-life casting isn’t something many of us think about, until it’s too late.
Having lost my own mum at a young age, I know how much it would have meant to have a casting of her hand. Something to hold in moments of grief or when I just needed comfort. Just to remember how her hand felt, how it looked - a part of her still with me.
When a loved one is unwell or has passed away, casting may not be the first thing on your mind. But later, you often realise how deeply you would have cherished something so simple… yet so powerful - a hand to hold.
Casting offers immense comfort to families. For children who have lost a parent, it can be especially meaningful. It gives them a physical, lasting connection - a way to feel close again.
Castings can be done after someone has passed. We can visit the funeral home or hospital. The process is always handled with the utmost respect and care. It’s calm, clean, and gentle. Your loved one is treated with complete dignity throughout.
